India’s steel production rose by 3.6% in April, with a total of 49.5 million tonnes produced from January-April this year, with the others seeing production drop by as much as 7% (World Steel Association).
This is despite of the fact the Indian steel Industry is heavily impacted because of high imports of low quality steel into the country.
